Ballet: Offered to ages 6 and up, ballet increases flexibility, poise and grace. Ballet is the foundation for all forms of dance and instills discipline and body and spatial awareness. If taken as a supplement to another dance form, the training received in ballet can enhance the body's ability with greater control, strength, extension and flexibility. Classical Jazz: This style of dance is offered to ages 6 and up. The art of jazz dance ranges in style from classical to funk to lyrical. Jazz is very popular with all age groups and while fun, jazz provides discipline and flexibility.
Hip-Hop: The new version of high energy jazz is inspired by today’s hip-hop music. This trendy dance style is easy for all youth to pick up since it moves with the music and allows individuality in thought, movement and expression. It is offered to ages 6 and up.
Tumbling: Beginning through advanced basic gymnastics floor skills. Tumbling can enhance your dancing or cheerleading at the same time increase strength and flexibility.
Pre-School Combo: (3-4 year olds) A combination class of tap, ballet and tumbling for pre-school dancers. This program is designed to introduce basic tap and ballet steps, rhythms, tumbling and flexibility. Tap-Ballet Combo: (5-6 year olds) A combination class of tap and ballet designed to introduce basic tap and ballet steps, rhythm and musicality.
Tap-Jazz Combo : (5-6 year olds) A combination class of tap and jazz designed to introduce basic tap and jazz steps, rhythm and musicality.
Jazz-Tap-Ballet (JTB) Combo: for (6-7 year olds) An hour long combination class of jazz, tap and ballet for dancers that have had at least two years of combo or have been recommended by a teacher. It will include instruction in all three disciplines to better prepare dancers for placement in more intensive programs.
Pilates/Fit and Tone: Shari Holbrook – Certified Pilates Instructor and Physical Trainer – can take you from beginning to advanced Pilates exercise and technique. Pilates is a method of body conditioning that combines a unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises. It focuses on core muscles of the body which will enhance daily life and provide more energy for all activities.
